Before attempting to attach the Xcite! X3 Clit Leash to any static object - that is, any modifiable object rezzed in the world - you will first need to make sure that the object is a valid Xcite! Chain Anywhere Target, meaning that it has the Xcite! Chain Anywhere Target script inside. If it does not, simply drag a copy of the Xcite! Chain Anywhere Target script (there is one in your Xcite! X3 Clit Leash-enhanced X3 Clit if you do not have one handy) into the Contents window after Editing the object. (If you are unable to drag the script into the Contents window and get a circle with a line through it symbol when you try, it means the object is not modifiable.)
Once the object is a valid Xcite! Chain Anywhere target, left click the Xcite! X3 Clit and select 'Chain' from the main menu. Next click the 'Attach' button - if you are anyone besides the Owner or wearer the wearer will at this time be prompted for permission to allow you to use the Xcite! Chain Anywhere functionality. You will next received a chat message:
Mary Jones clips a chain to Jane's Clit and looks for a place to attach it.
Once you receive this message you just need to left click once on a valid Xcite! Chain Anywhere target object, and the chain will link between the Xcite! X3 Clit Leash and the target object.
To detach the chain, simply select 'Detach' from the same Chain menu.
