By setting your gender you will ensure that any Actions used with your X4 items that have the appropriate variables used will use the correct gender pronouns, and the paper doll images in your X4 HUD will show the correct gender:
1. On the Home window of your X4 HUD click the 'My Body' button.
2. Click the 'Settings' button in the middle of the 'My Body' window.
3. Left click one of the blue arrows next to 'Gender' in the My Body Settings window to rotate through the options you have for gender - Male, Female, Hermaphrodite and None.
OR, if you do not have the X4 HUD,
1. Left click on your X4 item in-world.
2. From the dialog menu select 'Options'.
3. From the dialog menu select 'Gender'.
4. From the dialog menu select the button that corresponds to the gender you wish to use.
Please note that setting your gender will apply this change to all of your currently worn Xcite! items. If you put on other Xcite! items after changing your gender setting you should repeat these steps to ensure that the new items pick up your preferences.
Please also note that setting your gender to 'hermaphrodite' does not place you in hermaphrodite mode in older (non-X4) Xcite! Genitals. Please consult the documentation that came with your older Xcite! Genitals to find out how to set and use hermaphrodite mode.
