Return Policy

We are happy to accept returns of all Xcite! items for an exchange or a full refund (minus any commission deducted by a third party...see below) provided the following conditions are met:

• Items may only be returned/exchanged by the original purchaser.
• Items must be returned intact, with all scripts and other items inside.
• Items must be returned within one week of the purchase date.
• Items must have been purchased from an Official Xcite! store or online channel (not second hand, for example).
• Items must be Transferable - No Transfer means no return/refund - with the exception of X4 and other licensed items.
• Partial returns are not accepted (you cannot return a part of the Starter Kit, for example).
• Returns by individuals who have been banned from Eventide Island will not be accepted.
• A reason for the return must be provided.

We provide this policy for the benefit of all our customers so that they may feel secure shopping with us. We ask that our customers not abuse it. This is not meant as a "try before you buy" plan.
You may not return an Xcite! item if:

• You did not purchase the item directly from an Xcite! store or official Xcite! online channel (such as getxcite.com or the SL Marketplace), or if we cannot verify through transaction records that you purchased the item directly from an Xcite! store or Xcite! online channel.
• The reason for the return is ‘it doesn’t work’.  For assistance with items that you are having trouble using please contact an Xcite! Staff member.
• You lost/deleted/discarded/did not accept the item.  You cannot receive a refund for items that cannot be returned to us, with the exception of Copiable items.

PLEASE NOTE: Refunds for items purchased through the SL Marketplace and other similar third party websites will only include the money we received, not the full purchase price of the item. The SL Marketplace keeps a percentage of every sale as commission and we regret we cannot return those funds to you since Linden Lab does not return those fees to us.  If this is a concern, we encourage you to purchase your Xcite! items directly in our Second Life stores or on the getxcite.com website.
